Some say poetry can be an absolute distillation of culture; others see it as pure entertainment.

Join us as we present a night of poetry featuring Ian Fraser probably our region's "most educated poet" as a previous Head of English Department at Nanango State High.
Alex King is a slampoet currently in Year 12 at NSHS. She has been actively Cheerswriting for the past 5 years and is a bright star of the future. Wendy Mathews has been drawn to poetry in recent years, writing her own style of bush poetry and showing that it's never too late to start your poetry fix. To conclude the evening, Lloyd Mcpherson who can both recite a rollicking bush ballad and has some of his own compositions to share. So four quite different styles of presenters, representing different genres and generations.
