* PAUL RICKETTS received the 2024 Thornton Young Award at Tamworth, he is a local in South Burnett. Paul Ricketts can be described as your average Australian bloke with a love for the bush and farm life. He lives in rural Qld on the family farm raising sheep and goats with his wife and children.
The country life has definitely influenced his style of music, leaning more towards the story telling side of country music.
Being the son of country singer Bobby Ricks also helped shape his love for traditional country music; growing up with and still performing the good old stuff like Merle Haggard, Don Williams, Johnny Cash, Slim Dusty, Buddy Williams and other favourites.

*AMBER GOLDSMITH another one of our locals from the South Burnett has been very busy this year realeasing 2 new singles "Country Girls" & "His Land". Amber Goldsmith was born in Kingaroy out in the South Burnett Region of QLD. She has been singing since her early childhood years in churches, retirement homes, small town events, pubs, clubs and more and has won the hearts of many with her voice & personality combo on and off stage.

Amber is simply a girl with an acoustic guitar, who sings a bit of older country, modern country, country rock and some Aussie pub rock & more. She has traveled many thousands of kilometers over Outback QLD and parts of NSW entertaining at well over 1000 places including pubs, clubs, weddings, parties, festivals, local shows, functions, BnS's, Rodeos and community events.

Amber wears her heart on her sleeve and uses music as a platform to share her rawness and talk openly about her life battles and experiences.

*VANESSA SANGER - Performing all the Classic Country Music right through to Modern Country. One of the country's sought after Female Singers. Nominated for Best Female in the ICMA. Vanessa is not just a singer she is an Entertainer, Great time will be had by all.
Vanessa covers the classics with absolute respect and honour to the Artists that performed them. With a voice likened to Tammy Wynnette, Linda Ronstadt. Be sure to catch one of her shows. Newly released Album - Love, Life & Memories.

**LANCE FRIEND - THE STORY SO FAR…
Working with one of Australia’s finest producers Brendan Radford, Lance released his first solo album in 2012 titled ‘The Album’. Lance has been back in the studio with Brendan working on his new songs alongside some of Australia’s finest musicians including Lawrie Minson, James Gillard, Michel Rose, Vaughan Jones, Mick Albeck and the late Glen Hannah.
With his music featuring high on various country charts Lance has toured Australia wide supporting and headlining many events, festivals and gigs. His main stage performances include The Gympie Music Muster and Airlie Beach Music Festival. He has headlined Noonamah Rodeo, Central Queensland Bikes, Bulls, Buggies & Bands, Julia Creek Dirt n Dust and Bowen Fishing Classic just to name a few. He supported Ross Wilson and Brian Cadd and has featured alongside Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows, The Radiators, Dragon, James Blundell and many more.
