The South Burnett is a proud supporter of country music with several Country Music Musters held throughout the region over the course of the year including the Back to Basics Music Muster near Proston in August, the Heritage Nanango Country Muster in September and the Murgon Country Music Muster during the first week of November
Nanango Show Society holds its annual Country Music Muster featuring Traditional Australian Country Music on the 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th of September 2024.
This is an event to mark on the calendar of any quality country music lover. It is 4 days full of country music, poetry, gospel and all those things that make our Australian Bush Lifestyle great.
The committee prides itself on the choice of artists as well as the variety from year to year.
The Murgon Music Muster is an annual event held during the 1st week in November at the Murgon PCYC (Murgon Showgrounds) and proudly run by the small, but hard working, Rotary Club of Murgon.
ach year the Muster has been gaining momentum and we focus on catering for Grey Nomads and day visitors.
The Muster includes walk-up artists, poets, professional artists and aboriginal dancers. Food and drinks will be available from the Muster.
"Back to Basics Music Muster" was established in 2018 and is an annual music muster held at 1385 Proston/Boondooma Road, Coverty in Queensland. Relaxing five days of bush camping with great food ,entertainment . 7th - 11th August 2024
