Our May 17th race meeting is in honour of the late Kaye Hill, with the feature race on the program being run in her name.
Kaye was one of our Nanango horse trainers and much loved amongst our local racing community. Her passing was unexpected, coming only a few days after winning at Gatton with Prince of Diamonds (pictured). Kaye successfully guided Prince of Diamonds to an impressive 7 victories. She had also recently introduced the unraced 3yo Master Ned to her team. Her husband, Paul Hill, has taken over the reins and we look forward to seeing him continue Kaye's winning legacy with both geldings.
