Join us on Sunday, 23rd February 2025, for an exciting Tag Along Tour, exploring history, nature, and breathtaking scenery. The journey begins at Roy Emerson Museum, Blackbutt, where we meet at 7:45 AM before departing at 8:00 AM. Along the way, we’ll stop for an optional morning tea at Brisbane Valley Roasters in Esk, before heading to Wivenhoe Dam Spillway Common. Discover the rich past of the region with visits to historic cemeteries at Wivenhoe Pocket and Bryden Catholic, followed by a scenic stop at Split Yard Dam. The tour continues with an exploration of the history of the Somerset family at Caboobah Church, Mt Beppo, where the day will wrap up at approximately 2:30 PM.

The cost is just $15 per person, with all proceeds supporting Blackbutt and District Tourism and Heritage Assoc. Inc (BDTHA). Be sure to bring your own lunch for a relaxing picnic near Wivenhoe Dam. Toilets are available at various stops, and we recommend bringing a chair, water, and a hat for comfort.
